Let’s talk about Mental Health

This half day workshop is organised by ADAVIC (Anxiety Disorder Association Victoria) and supported by the City of Casey. Mental rest for mental health – Workshop for ADAVIC

Pauline McKinnon will present this workshop as part of the Mental Health Week for the Anxiety Disorder Association of Victoria (ADAVIC). Australian Meditation Conference

Presented by the Meditation Association of Australia (MA) this event is the first of its kind in Australia. This forum will offer an opportunity for shared learning and networking for meditation teachers, psychologists, neuroscientists, educators, health professionals, business leaders, academics and researchers, all of whom specialise in, practise or are fascinated by meditation.

In response to many requests, we are introducing open group sessions for children 6-13 years.  SMT sessions will be complemented by reflection time through story and art. Join us on this International Day of Peace to create silent and powerful thoughts of peace – on one day, for one hour, for one purpose as one community.’Wake up for Peace” will take place at The Edge, Federation Square (Melbourne) and everyone is welcome to attend.  Pauline McKinnon along with other experienced meditators will be supporting the public gathering, which is hoped will bring together individuals from all walks of life and all sectors of the community, regardless of faith or culture.
