Pauline McKinnon will be presenting “Mind Care”, a two hour introductory session on Thursday 12 July 2012 from 6.30 – 8.30pm at the Box Hill Community Arts Centre
Physiologically based, Stillness Meditation Therapy (SMT™) was originated in 1950’s by the eminent psychiatrist Dr Ainslie Meares, 1910-1976, (Relief Without Drugs, 1968), who dedicated his life’s work to the natural management of anxiety. SMT is not related to other forms of meditation and it is not related to culture, philosophy or religion.
The workshop is aimed at anyone who wants to reduce everyday stress - from anxiety sufferers and their families, to students, teachers and parents, Executives, Managers and all those who are interested in preventative health care.
There will be opportunity for discussion and questions and one or more experiential sessions in Stillness Meditation will take place.
